More than 45 years ago, in the small town of Bavla, Gujarat, a compassionate woman named Smt. Hiraa Patel, lovingly known as Hirabaa, began preparing a simple herbal skin balm in her own home.
Using only edible-grade Coconut Oil and Natural Raal (Damar Batu), Hirabaa carefully followed a traditional preparation process that required patience, dedication, and love. She never created this balm as a business. Her only purpose was to help people.
Whenever someone in the village suffered from burns, cracked skin, or everyday skin discomfort, they would visit Hirabaa. She prepared the balm herself and distributed it free of cost, expecting nothing in return.
Her kindness, compassion, and selfless service gradually earned the trust of countless families, making "Hirabaa" a name synonymous with care and humanity.
The Woman Behind Hirabaa
Hirabaa believed that nature provides some of the finest ingredients for everyday skin care.
Her traditional preparation combined Natural Raal (Damar Batu)—a resin obtained from the Sal tree—with edible-grade Coconut Oil to create a gentle herbal balm suitable for everyday use.
The preparation itself was never simple.
Traditionally, the natural Raal was repeatedly washed and purified before being slowly blended with coconut oil to preserve its natural properties.
Although manufacturing methods have evolved, our philosophy remains unchanged.
Every batch is prepared with the same commitment to purity, quality, and care that Hirabaa once maintained while preparing the balm by hand.

Our Journey
After Hirabaa passed away in 2002, her mission paused for a few years.
In 2013, her son Shri Dineshbhai Patel decided to continue his mother's legacy through Hirabaa Seva Charitable Trust.
The trust resumed the free distribution of Hirabaa Raal Malam to burn-affected individuals and people in need, ensuring that Hirabaa's tradition of service would continue.
As more families experienced the product during everyday use, many voluntarily shared positive feedback.
Encouraged by their trust, we decided to make Hirabaa Raal Malam available to more households while preserving Hirabaa's original philosophy.
In 2017, Hirabaa Raal Malam received approval under a Government Cosmetic Manufacturing License, allowing us to manufacture the product professionally while remaining true to its traditional roots.
Today, every jar is manufactured at Girnar Ayurvedic, Zekda GIDC, Near Bavla, Gujarat, following quality manufacturing standards.
